Fair-o-mat

The Fair-o-mat® is a sustainable vending machine: It sells fair trade products only and works ecologically without electricity. It has no cooling or lighting and all coin validators are purely mechanical. The machine itself was refurbished from discarded old devices and can be recycled 99% in case of dismantling.
The products come from the Fair Trade Shop Rostock. Only fairly produced food (and handicrafts) are sold in Fair Trade Shops. Fair Trade strives for an equal partnership between the Global South and the Global North. Therefore dialogue, transparency, respect and more justice in international trade is enforced.
The Fair-o-mat® is located in the Rostock town hall: In the corrridor (snack point) next to the ballroom (1st floor above the main entrance).
